At the end of its second season, Game of Thrones fans are still trying to process the shock that Game of Throne star Sophie Turner has reportedly been arrested for allegedly assaulting a friend at a party, but it’s hard not to get excited about the show’s newest star, who just so happens to be a friend of Turner’s.
The actor is the newest addition to the cast of HBO’s Game of Hearts, which takes place on the fictional world of Westeros, where the show follows a young, powerful and charismatic woman named Queen Cersei, and her loyalist allies.
The show is set in the medieval world of Essos, which has been in flux since the death of King Joffrey in season one, and has featured major character deaths, such as the death in season two of a young prince, and the death during the first season of a female child.
In a statement, Turner said she was “shocked and shocked to hear rumors that I was the reason for the death and injury of my friend, who was not my real life friend, but who had been hanging around me for quite a while, I have no idea where these rumors come from.”
She added that the alleged incident occurred on July 1, 2017, and that she “was not in any way aware of it,” but did not elaborate further.
She added that “the police are investigating and I have full confidence that they will prove that I am innocent.”
